The Greener Side was a great chance to witness the diversity of voices advocating for wildlife. The Greener Side gave me an opportunity to engage with a cross section of nature enthusiasts as well as fellow conservationists on the walks and the discussions. Such initiatives are important and essential as they help build bridges between conservation scientists like myself and nature enthusiasts. These initiatives help create awe and curiosity, bring about a sense of ownership and awareness for nature and our immediate environments. All these are key ingredients for inspiring our current and future generations to take proactive steps to live consciously and conserve nature.
